On the 27th of September 1980 the group Laibach, formed that year in the small mining town Trbovlje near Ljubljana, prepared it‘s ‘coming out’ under the patronage of Ljubljana‘s ŠKUC Gallery. This was its first proper live performance, and first public happening in the form of a multimedia action; an event that would represent an ‘alternative to the (official, centralistic) Slovenian culture’ and would shock and awaken the Red District – at the time slumbering, poisoned and saturated by soc-realism and provincialism – with its brutish and avant-garde aesthetics. The single day Blitzkrieg event was conceptualised as a poster action (night postering of Trbovlje), a concert of anarcho-industrial music (featuring Laibach, Kaos and Berlinski zid) and as an exhibition of paintings, collages, graphics and short films (Ausstellung Laibach Kunst).- Details

After a successful, sold-out show in Copenhagen (alongside Pretty Maids), celebrating the 25th anniversary of the album “Fear Of Tomorrow”, Artillery started working on new songs. “6” is the working title of their forthcoming album scheduled for release on March 21st, 2011. The new album will include 11 songs. Some of the titles are "Ain’t giving in", "Concealed in the dark", "If only death was an illusion", "Monster" and "Warrior blood". The album will be available in minimum 3 different formats, which will include 4 bonus tracks: "The Eternal War", "Show Your Hate", "The Almighty" (these are all re-recorded versions of tracks taken from the band’s first album - "Fear Of Tomorrow") and "Computer god" (a cover version of the song by Black Sabbath).

NECRONOMICON, one of Germany’s longest running Thrash Metal bands, is currently in the Arsen Music Studios in Breisach am Rhein, working on what will be the band’s seventh release. The new album, to be titled “Invictus”, will be NECRONOMICON’s most ambitious work to date, and aside from nine new songs and a new version of “Possessed by Evil”, the double CD is set to include seven live tracks and four or five acoustic songs. Artwork for “Invictus” will be by the Brazilian artist Jobert Mello, who has worked with bands such as SABATON, PRIMAL FEAR and BENEDICTUM. A new label is being sought for the release of “Invictus”.- Details
