From the cold depths of Brazilian southern, comes Euphorbia. The brazilian dark electro/industrial duo, Ulisses Righi (Vocals / Synth / Programming) and Cirion Barboza (Synth / Programming), celebrated their five year career with an aggressive and gloomy EP. The original “Achromatopsia” EP (released on their official website) features 4 disturbing original songs. But they also released a different edition including a special track made for the Penumbra Cyber Party, a gothic/industrial event that occurs monthly at Porto Alegre, Brasil. This release, with extra track (but with a different cut between tracks 2 and 3), is now available for free download (MP3 320kbps) on phantasma13.com

With ‘Postcards From A Young Man’, the Welsh Pop/Rock institution will release their meanwhile tenth studio album in September. While last year’s album ‘Journal For Plagued Lovers’ was a rather retrospective story, an album working up the past, the band announces for the upcoming release stadium choruses like ‘Everything Must Go’ and a return to the classic rock roots of their 2007 album ‘Send Away The Tigers’. On occasion of the album release, the band will start their so far most extensive tour of Great Britain. Between 29th September and 1st November James Dean Bradfield, Nicky Wire and Sean Moore will play nearly two dozen shows, supported by the band BRITISH SEA POWER. The new album ‘Postcards From A Young Man’ will be released on 17th September 2010.Source: Newsletter

Times of fury… Tiempos de Furia! The album title pretty much sums up the inferno that the Mexican Hard-Electro-pioneers are unleashing on their new CD. The snout has not been sporting such a raw and aggressive bark since the early days: unbridled electronic anger meets lashing beats. Fittingly, Erk Aicrag and Racso Agroyam have driven the production into much rougher and harder sounding terrains than on the previous albums. Music-wise, electronic-slam-dance-riots like the title track and the massive “Bite Me” meet heavy mid tempo onslaughts and excursions to the dark side, making the new long player the most versatile work in the band’s opulent oeuvre.- THE STRANGE DEATH OF LIBERAL ENGLAND - Debut album end of October
