Finnish soprano diva TARJA TURUNEN revealed new details about her Christmas album. Also she performed two new songs live. "In For A Kill" and "Witch-Hunt", that will be included in her second album, What Lies Beneath, at the Halloween concert on the 30th October. Together with the Tampere Filharmonics, led by Benjamin Vary. During the concert Tarja Turunen performed four songs in total, Witch-Hunt and In For A Kill (world premiere) and also Oasis and I Walk Alone, from the debut album, My Winter Storm. - Details

Finnish Doom metal band SWALLOW THE SUN released a new digital single today, via Spinefarm Records UK. 'New Moon’ is the titletrack from their latest album. The single comes with “Servant Of Sorrow” as the B-side, which features guitarist Steve Rothery of Marillion fame as special guest. The band will release their new album on 30th November 2009. Netherlands based PAINKILLER RECORDS has signed fellow countrymen CEREMONY OF OPPOSITES for the release of the band’s second full-length album “Seeds of Resurrection”, which is scheduled to hit the streets in late 2009/early 2010. Playing Death Metal with shades of Thrash, Viking and Black Metal running through it, CEREMONY OF OPPOSITES is one of the few metal bands to include a female amongst its ranks in the shape of ASJE VAN LOON (bass/backing vox), who, along with PASCAL (guitars/ backing vox) and MARCEL OERLEMANS (lead guitars/lead vox), was one of the original founder members in 2005. Drummer TIM VERHEIJDEN (THE MORGAN AFFAIR, SURMOUNT, ex-NIHILISTIC, ex-FACIAL HUMILIATION), with his boundless energy, is a recent recruit to the band.- Details

Aggronautix is releasing a limited-edition figure of everyone's favorite pop punker, Milo of the Decendents (1000 numbered). This replica of the charismatic frontman stands at 7 inches tall, and is made of a lightweight polyresin. Displayed in a a black and blue tri-windowed box, Milo is portrayed in action and comes complete with his trademark nerd glasses and bitchin' stage stance. “Wow, I can't believe it's happening," said Milo.
