The British synth duo HURTS emerged seemingly out of nowhere in 2010 and instantly dominated the international charts. Both their debut album Happiness and the massive singles ‘Wonderful Life’ and ‘Stay’ remained in the European charts for months, earning numerous gold and platinum awards. With their elegant style blending New Wave, synth music, and melancholic Pop, HURTS became the protagonists of a new wave of artists transporting the ideals of the 80s into the present.

When SKUNK ANANSIE formed in London in 1994, the music scene was dominated by Britpop - driven by white men with guitars. However, the four band members - Deborah “Skin” Dyer, Martin “Ace” Kent, Richard “Cass” Lewis, and Robbie - stood out: as one of the first mixed-race bands, they drew attention right from the start.

Dear Amphi family, we have exciting news for you! The line-up for Amphi 2025 will be even more diverse. We are delighted to welcome the legendary CAMOUFLAGE. With hits like ‘The Great Commandment’ and ‘Love Is A Shield’, they left their mark on the 80s. Their performance promises a magical journey through nostalgic sounds and captivating melodies. We would also like to welcome the up-and-coming band SANZ! The “modern dark rockers” combine poppy vocals with fat walls of guitars, modern synthesizers, driving bass and groovy drums. More bands are being planned. We will inform you shortly!
