ALISON MOYET announces UK and European tour reviving songs from YAZOO alongside tracks from her solo albums ‘the minutes’ and ‘Other’. Shows are confirmed in Hanover, Berlin, Leipzig and Frankfurt in September 2026. Tickets on sale: 13 March at 11:00 am (online presale: 12 March via CTS & myticket).Following the release of her 2024 album ‘Key’, which sparked a renewed appreciation of her solo catalogue and earned her a return to the UK Top 10 for the first time in eleven years, ALISON MOYET has now announced details of a unique UK and European headline tour set to begin in September 2026. The tour will feature a setlist drawn exclusively from the YAZOO catalogue alongside selected tracks from her acclaimed solo electronica albums ‘the minutes’ and ‘Other’. In Germany, the tour will include performances in Hanover, Berlin, Leipzig and Frankfurt.
While some YAZOO hits have remained staples of Alison’s live shows, much of the duo’s material has rarely been performed live outside of their two short touring periods - the original breakthrough in 1982 and the “Reconnected reunion tour” in 2008. This tour therefore offers a rare opportunity to experience live performances of the songs that powered YAZOO’s extraordinary, if short-lived, success, including the landmark album ‘Upstairs at Eric’s’ (certified platinum in both the UK and the US) and their final record ‘You and Me Both’, which reached number one in the UK.
In addition, the tour will showcase selected tracks from Alison’s critically acclaimed solo albums ‘the minutes’ (2013) and ‘Other’ (2017). Both records - produced and largely co-written by Guy Sigsworth - were widely celebrated as a triumphant creative return to electronica, making them a perfect companion to the Yazoo material for this tour.
Alison says: “Many years touring the same pool of songs and I am keen for a palate refresher. Specifying which years I will be fishing from too, I think is a grand way to serve pot luck for specific tastes. No bones…”
This summer Alison will also appear as a special guest on THE HUMAN LEAGUE’s “Generations Tour”, alongside SOFT CELL, performing 21 shows across North America. The tour will include iconic venues such as the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles and Radio City Music Hall in New York.
