CYNICAL EXISTENCE is a project of Fredrik of PROJECT ROTTEN as he wanted to have a creative outlet that he could call his efforts only his own. It is a quality injection of Dark Electro where you’ll find intense and danceable songs ‘I'm broken (feat Pre Emptive Strike 0.1.)’ or songs with Industrial predominance i.e. ‘Release Me’ and even some subdued Metal elements i.e. ‘Paradox’.
Conclusion: It’s not any kind of breakthrough in the genre, but it’s still a very enjoyable album with interesting facets, a demonstration that Fredrik can manage on his own well enough indeed.
