Review Flash

Serbia is not the most common country to review bands from, that much I can say but I won’t underestimate the Balkan again. CENTURION from Belgrade, Serbia are a full-blooded, highly melodic and progressive band that is already existent since 2008. CENTURION play a blend of old-school Heavy Metal with influences of Balkan ethnic music harmonies and 70s Progressive Rock. Frontman Miloš Marjanovic has a rich and versatile voice which is in good use, Ðorde Lukovic shares guitar duty with Stefan Tomic (both of them are experts at their axes). Miloš Galovic is the bass man and once you pinpointed his sound, he cannot be unheard (apparently his playing is making his presence known). Dušan Mitrovic is the man whose job is kicking and beating his instrument and his drumming is really fitting perfectly to CENTURION. This is the band’s first LP and if you can stomach the Balkan influences that are a bit weird sometimes, you will like this just fine

Conclusion: Most of the times you might compare CENTURION to bands like IRON MAIDEN because of their musicality and their songs being highly melodic, check this out!
