GALLOWS WHISPER is best described as raw bedroom produce DIY attitude breathing proto Doom in the fashion of WITCHFYNDE or PENTAGRAM (the lyrics really remind me of Bobby Liebling). The artist behind this raw and dry little gem is Sirius Datura. His guitar already started to get dusty as he decided to get back to music and composed three songs for this demo I’m listening to right now. The demo was recorded and mixed at a friend’s house and Sirius plans to complete another three songs in 2021. He currently searches for a drummer because he is not satisfied with his drum skills. Maybe this demo will be released on tape later on.
Conclusion: If you like your bands firmly rooted in the underground you should check this out on Bandcamp and support the dude.
