Review Flash

VIRUS INHUMANITY is an Extreme Metal outfit from Limburg, Belgium that was formed in 2019. The five-piece play a rough mix between Groove and Death Metal. After digging a bit into the EP and the band’s sound I am able to state that, after the first impression that this is mainly really rough and groovy in-your-face Death Metal, there is quite some atmosphere to be found upon some of the tunes (‘7 Sins’ part one and two are quite melodic and heavy from the feel of it). The twenty-three minutes and twenty-seven seconds go by rather fast and they do leave some scars on their way but that is party of the game when dealing with extreme music. Dimi’s vocals are rough and aggressive just like expected when pushing that play button, the rhythm section is tight and the riffs are good and tasty. All in all there are almost no surprises on ‘Infectious’ but I did not expect some to be honest, just some good violent fun.

Conclusion: If you like it dirty and raw like a quickie at a truck stop you might enjoy this.
