Amphi Festival 2010 Day 1 Main Stage: And One, Anne Clark, Blutengel, Welle:Erdball, Ashbury Heights, End of Green, Din [A] Tod, Zin
We started very early on this Saturday morning and surprisingly arrived in Cologne without any traffic jams. Also, our hotel room was already prepared and so, we arrived very early at the festival ground, enough time to check out the area, have some coffee and meet up with some friends. The main stage offered a mixed program being headlined by Synth poppers AND ONE and starting with ZIN, the winner of Friday night’s newcomer contest.

Hörnerfest Open Air 2010: Equilibrium, Feuerschwanz, Cromdale, The Pokes, Bran Barr, Adivarius, Schattenweber, Myrkvar, Cultus Ferox, Feuerteufel Fire Show, Rapalje, The Shanes, Coppelius, Arkona, Ingrimm, Rabenwolf, Ragnaröek, Fiddelaldermolk
I love this festival. After my first visit last year, I was really feeling as though I was amongst old friends and it has a great family but fun atmosphere that seems to bring out the best in everyone there. Thomas, the organizer, must be on first name terms with the local weather gods, because like last year the weather was fantastic reaching nearly 40 degrees. So with a festival as hot as Africa and a killer line up, we pitched our tents and headed off to see what we could see.

Gothic Festival 2010 Day 1: Covenant, Sex Gang Children, Umbra Et Imago, Ordo Rosarius Equilibrio, Funker Vogt, Faderhead, The House of Usher, Triarii, Whispers In The Shadow, FGFC820, Mildreda, Void Of Sadness
Already for the 5th time, the Gothic Festival in Belgium Waregem opened its gates. Three days full of brilliant music and a line-up you rarely see these days awaited us. Starting off at Friday noon, already the first day had some great names to offer with Swedish Covenant headlining the festival. The mix of well-known acts and rather unknown ones was again one big plus of the festival making it possible to experience very new music and get surprised once more again.

Schneewittchen
On this hot July day, we went on the way to see SCHNEEWITTCHEN with their eccentric show accompanying the release of the new album ‘Perlen vor die Säue’ in the Ampere club in Munich. Singer Marianne Iser and songwriter Thomas Duda are forming the duet SCHNEEWITTCHEN hailing from Hannover. The group was founded in 1995 in Hildesheim. Their music is a mixture of chanson, pop and rock. At the beginning of their career they performed mostly in cabarets, but however, during the course of time their music and their show became visibly too hard for it. www.schneewittchenmusik.de
