Negative, Jann Wilde & Rose Avenue
Finish Glam rockers NEGATIVE are just on the road again. Seeing them at the AMPHI FESTIVAL I knew that would be a hard evening for me with hundreds of female fans. The concerts was supposed to start early at 19:00. Then I arrived at the venue half an hour earlier, the parking lot seemed quite empty, but when I entered the Zeche it was just now totally packed. I knew this promised an emotional concert. Together on tour with the “stars” are JANN WILDE & ROSE AVENUE, a fresh and new band from Finland.

Lacuna Coil and Poisonblack
Having no chance to see LACUNA COIL at the M’era Luna festival 2005 I was very much looking forward the show in Cologne. The line-up with three bands – POISON BLACK and LACRIMAS PROFUNDERE – looked very promising. Lacrimas Profundere were planned as the opening band, but the singer had some accident during a previous show and so all shows from Cologne further had to be cancelled. So, only two bands for the evening. That it turned in fact out as only one band plus three songs of the headliner is another story…

Zeche Carl, Essen, Germany
30th of October 2006
Deathstars and Stoneman
We arrived at Zeche Carl quite early, to do an interview before the concert started. Much to our surprise people had already started to queue up at the entrance doors, so we thought it would be quite packed by the time the first band started. As a live experience both bands were an unwritten page for me, so I was excited to be enriched by their performances that evening.

Lordi, Powerdice
After winning the Eurovision Song Festival their song ‘Hard Rock Haleluja’ was know throughout all of Europe. Some were very happy to see this band win, others thought of never joining in again if this kind of bands could win as well. Personally I had a laugh and we even more pleasantly surprised when my grandmother said even she thought it was a good song.

Omnia, Qntal, Unto Ashes
Qntal was touring to promote their new fifth album ‘The Silver Swan’. Having a pretty big fan base in Holland, they couldn’t skip our small country. On Saturday they performed with Unto Ashes in the W2 in Den Bosch, and in the Oudegracht they had Omnia backing them up in a folky gothic matinee. There were plans for a gothic fantasy market. By the time I got there, I found out there wasn’t going to be a market ‘due to circumstances’. But as I found out, it was not very busy in Tivoli. With not enough tickets sold they had to cancel the market. At 5 o’clock sharp, Omnia walked on stage.
