Second Sight as support for And One
SECOND SIGHT, a synth-driven Electro Pop band, warmed up the crowd with a high-energy set. Known for their blend of darkwave and 80s-inspired sounds, they were a perfect match for the evening’s nostalgic theme. Their recent releases, including ‘Send Me An Angel’ and the remix of ‘Crockett’s Theme’, show a band that is not afraid to mix iconic 80s tracks with their own unique modern flair.

Deichkind - “Kids in meinem Alter 2024 Tour”
A children’s birthday party for adults. That’s how DEICHKIND describe their concerts. Last Saturday in the Westfalenhalle in Dortmund, they showed just how right they are. But it didn’t really want to fill up. And indeed: the hall was far from sold out. Of course, it was most crowded in the inner area. That made sense, because DEICHKIND fans know that the band gets up close and personal with the fans inside during the course of the evening. But even there it was quite spacious at the back. In the upper level, however, there was even more space. In total, the Westfalenhalle was probably 2/3 full. Did this have any negative impact on the concert? Not at all.

League Of Distortion - “Galvanize Tour 2024”
LEAGUE OF DISTORTION, one of Modern Metal’s most exciting rising stars, brought their “Galvanize Tour 2024” to Berlin’s Cassiopeia on December 6. The German band, formed during the COVID-19 pandemic by vocalist Anna “Ace” Brunner and guitarist Jim “Arro” Müller, has quickly gained recognition for their empowering lyrics and genre-defying sound. Promoting their sophomore album ‘Galvanize’, the night was an energetic celebration of resilience and rebellion. Unfortunately, I arrived just in time for the main act, as illness prevented me from catching the supporting band, ANGRA, whose progressive Power Metal set was said to energize the crowd earlier that evening.
