After the profound line-up changes at OOMPH! it was clear that many fans were excited about the upcoming tour. DER SCHULZ will be standing live on stage together with OOMPH! for the first time on this tour. Of course, many people already know DER SCHULZ from his time as frontman for UNZUCHT and so many people already knew his voice. Can this work with a new singer? Such a change is always very difficult in any band.

WOW! What a brilliant Thrash Metal concert evening in the Alte Spinnerei Glauchau. I haven’t been in the location for a while and the stage has changed in the meantime. Some improvements have been made. The PA on the left and right of the stage now hangs from the ceiling on steel cables and this gives the stage more width. The light setup has also been improved. Overall, the stage has been well redesigned. A nice setup with which the audience can continue to enjoy many live events in the Alte Spinnerei Glauchau in the future.

The Hives - “The Death of Randy Fitzsimmons European Tour 2023”

After gaining traction in their home country through the 1990s, THE HIVES rose to prominence internationally in the early 2000s during the Garage Rock revival. Their mainstream success came with the release of their second album ‘Veni Vidi Vicious’ which contained their breakthrough single and signature song, ‘Hate to Say I Told You So’. The band is especially well known for their high-energy and eccentric live shows, with music critics having hailed them as amongst the best live rock bands of the last two decades.
