CORDE OBLIQUE’s eight studio album ‘Cries and Whispers’ is a double album inspired by homonymous Bargman’s movie ‘Cries and Whispers’; the album is split in two sides: Volume 1 ‘Cries’ (Post Metal / Folkgaze) and Volume 2 ‘Whispers’ (Ethereal / Post Folk). The album is going to be released on February 14 2025, for the 20th anniversary of the band (2005-2025) and includes 10 unreleased tracks composed by mastermind Riccardo Prencipe plus a cover from the band ALCEST (‘Souvenirs d’un autre monde’) and one solo guitar song (Satie’s ‘Gnossienne’ n. 1).
