As every year, Friday evening at the festival is reserved for the written word. From 20:00, friends of eloquence, fantastic stories and black humour meet at the disco hangar. As always, promoters invited authors to read from their newest works, from old classics or quaint anecdotes. We are looking forward to repeaters Christian von Aster and Markus Heitz who already turned the reading stage to a fantastic landscape during the last years. In-between, Lucy van Org will be debuting at M’era Luna. The ÜBERMUTTER front woman will not only read from her current works, but also enrich the program with musical interludes.

Now it’s official: British guitarist Mark Gemini Thwaite, MGT for short, has signed with Hanover record imprint SPV and is scheduled to release his first solo album “Volumes” at the end of June. The lead single, ´Knowing Me Knowing You`, a cover version of the Abba classic featuring guest vocalist Ville Valo of HIM, will be available from 15 April. Valo is not the only guest musician on Volumes, which has turned into a veritable all-star recording. Other appearances include Wayne Hussey of Mark’s previous band The Mission, Miles Hunt and Erica Nockalls of The Wonder Stuff, Ricky Warwick (Black Star Riders/Thin Lizzy), Raymond Watts (Pig/KMFDM), Saffron (Republica), Julianne Regan (All About Eve), Ashton Nyte (The Awakening), Carlo Van Putten (Dead Guitars) and Goth legend Andi Sex Gang.
