Stereophonics from Wales have represented a certain rock feeling since 24 years. They have an eye on the urgency of a rough, forceful sound while being deeply connected with the tradition of hymnal choruses and thrilling verses. With this tension between alternative rock and fantastic melodies they became true guarantees of success early on. Five of their eight records reached the pole position of the British charts and eleven of their singles achieved an entry into the top 10. Stereophonics return on stage with new material this year. Their ninth record ‘Keep the Village Alive’ will be released on 11th September. Their first big Germany tour since three years will follow between 3rd and 15th October with stops in Hamburg, Frankfurt, Cologne and Munich. - Details

Clutch, the influential heavy rock band from Maryland, will release its eleventh studio album “Psychic Warfare” October 2nd via their own label Weathermaker Music. The album was produced by longtime producer Machine (Lamb Of God, Every Time I Die) and consists of 12 new tracks. “The title ‘Psychic Warfare’ is taken from the track, ‘X-Ray Visions” states singer Neil Fallon. “It’s a tale about an unnamed protagonist who is forced to seek refuge in a flop house motel. He is hiding from several nefarious psychic forces, the worst of which is his own sleep deprived paranoia.” The album cover was designed by renowned photographer Dan Winters.- Details

The sulphurous, vitriolic and corroded copper smoke that arose slowly, killed every living thing in its vicinity. Many people died of poisoning and even today, many lakes and forests around Falun, Sweden lie dead and full of toxins. Shaped by this historic industrial environment Gabriella Åström (Vocals & Synth), Tobias Andersson (Synth & Guitar) and Jonas Martinsson(Drums) formed the electro-pop band ME THE TIGER back in 2012.- Details

Coppelius’ Steampunk Opera “Klein Zaches, Great” Zinnober
Something extraordinary is going to take place in Gelsenkirchen in the very near future. The innovative German Steampunk rockers COPPELIUS have decided to collaborate with the symphonic orchestra Neue Philharmonie Westfalen in order to breathe life into E.T.A. Hoffman's 19th century tale ”Klein Zaches, great Zinnober”. They declare it to be the “first Steampunk opera” to ever grace this planet and it is going to be directed by Sebastian Schwab.
