This year already marks the 18th instalment of one of Germany’s biggest and finest festivals dedicated to Metal: Summer Breeze Open Air. Providing a line-up which will please fans ranging from Metalcore via Heavy Metal to Black and Doom Metal, the festival will take place once again, for the tenth time in a row, in Dinkelsbühl, a beautiful city located in Southern Germany.

Mauno Meesit, head behind Estonian project SININE, announces his new acoustic album CLOSER, that I will be released under his own name, will be out on April 27. Meesit expresses himself through heart-felt songs and minimalist arrangements. Fascinated by little imperfections and dusty sounds, he recorded vocals with a 1940’s American microphone, tracked guitars with a 100 years old  Austrian parlor guitar,  and added slight touches of untuned piano and electronic sounds.

Powerwolf have just unveiled the title of their upcoming album, which is scheduled for a July 2015 release. The album will be entitled "Blessed & Possessed", and once again guitarist Matthew Greywolf was also responsible for the album´s artwork. Currently the band is laying final touches to the mix, together with sound wizard Fredrik Nordström at Studio Fredman in Gothenburg, Sweden. Catch POWERWOLF live on their very special WOLFSNÄCHTE tour 2015. The wolves will be accompanied by none less than Germany´s powermetal hopefuls ORDEN OGAN, swedish troopers CIVIL WAR (the new band of Ex-Sabaton Members) as well as german/dutch symphonic metallers XANDRIA.

On 28th March it is time for the fifth E-tropolis Festival. In less than two weeks an electronic thunderstorm breaks loose at Turbinenhalle Oberhausen, featuring VNV NATION, PROJECT PITCHFORK, LAIBACH, DE/VISION, LEÆTHER STRIP, SOLAR FAKE and many many more. Huge events cast their shadows ahead. So it is ours to keep you informed about some important changes in the festival´s proceedings, which affect mainly the signing sessions and the after-show party.
