Not one, but two new IRON SAVIOR products are set to arrive in the next few months! We already announced the band's first ever LIVE DVD/CD a while ago, but before that, a new version of their "Megatropolis" album, titled "MEGATROPOLIS 2.0" (which comes with a new mix and a lot of re-recordings) will be released on April 24th. Piet Sielck comments: "AFM has informed me that our "Megatrolis" album is sold out, so the idea came up to rework the material and release a new edition. Being unhappy with the album for a long time, I am absolutely delighted to get a chance to correct my errors. The new mix will carry all Iron Savior trademarks such as big choir backings and lots of multi timbral vocals. I left all these goodies out at the time to make the album more distinguishable from my former second band Savage Circus... a fatal error, which I finally can correct now."

Finnish metal act AMORPHIS has started the year off by demoing new songs for their upcoming 12th studio album due out in September. The band has started pre-production this month in Helsinki with producer Jens Bogren. The album recordings will begin in april at Bogren's Fascination Street Studio in Stockholm. The lyrics are written by AMORPHIS's spiritual mentor Pekka Kainulainen. ”Like Kalevala, they are descriptions of natural phenomena, seasons and the human mind. Reoccuring situations where hope and uncertainty alternate. Attempting to gain advice from higher powers. The poems do not form a complete story per se, but they are drawn together by a certain theme. We live under a red cloud and once again, time weighs us,” describes Pekka Kainulainen.

When BEYOND OBSESSION released their debut ‘Listen Learn and Speak’ 18 months ago, not only were the critics thrilled and praising this ascending star in the pop sky. But they also caused a sensation with hits like ‘On my Way’, ‘Nothing Like That’ or ‘Tokio Underground’ in the clubs. Since that, a lot has happened for the guys surrounding Nils Upahl, singer and mastermind of the synth pop trio from the Northeast of the Republic. While earning a lot of live experience as support for among others CAMOUFLAGE, DIORAMA, PSYCHE, MELOTRON, T.O.Y. And FORCED TO MODE, they worked continuously on their long-awaited second long-player.

The Gentle Storm, featuring the talents of Arjen Lucassen (Ayreon, Star One, Guilt Machine) & Anneke van Giersbergen (The Gathering, Devin Townsend Project), are set to release the debut album ‘The Diary’ on the 23rd March 2015, and with just 2 weeks to go before its launch, they are pleased to reveal the gentle version of the track ‘Shores of India’ which you can listen to HERE. Anneke had this to say: “I immediately loved the mysterious and exotic melodies on 'Shores Of India’. It must have been overwhelming for these sailors to encounter such a different and wonderful culture in the 17th century. We really tried to put ourselves in their position and capture their amazement. There is a big difference in how we approached the vocals on both versions, because musically there is a different intensity between the ‘gentle’- and ‘storm' interpretation, but the lyrics and emotions remain the same. It has been such a great experience working on that with Arjen.”

40 years MOTÖRHEAD - and never quiet. There are more reasons than usual to celebrate those rock music icons: stage anniversary, a new record in autumn, Lemmy turning 70 in December and there will be tours and festival appearances worldwide: At the moment, the band is in studio with their long-time producer Cameron Webb recording their 22nd record which will be released in autumn 2015. Already in April, MOTÖRHEAD will be flying over to South America to pursue their Monster Rock tour (with Judas Priest and Ozzy Osbourne).
