During the pre-Christmas period the Finnish Rock/ Metal queen with the angel’s voice is coming to Germany for a Christmas Tour. The apprenticed Soprano singer, supported by an instrumental foursome, will perform songs from her upcoming Christmas album ‘Ave Maria En Plein Air’ (out in September on earMUSIC/ Edel) on five evenings mostly in German churches. The CD was recorded in a church in the Finnish town of Seinäjoki and is a wonderful contrast to her last rock/ metal album ‘Colours in the Dark’ (2013). Different renderings of the ‘Ave Maria’ will be part of TARJA TURUNEN’s programme, accompanied by cello, piano, violin and flute. Soft sounds and Tarja’s clear voice are definitely the perfect way to create the Christmas spirit this year!- Details

This summer will be hot and danceable. There are not only many festivals to visit, but also bands coming up with new albums and singles and so does Johan van Roy of SUICIDE COMMANDO too. With ‘The Pain That You Like’, the Belgian mastermind returns to the club dance-floors and yes, this time he’s got a little help from a friend. Jean Luc de Meyer of FRONT 242 did some guest vocals, so this track might be interesting for all the old-school EBM fans too. Release date will be 24th July on Out of Line, so mark this date in your calendars.- Details

We all know that Vasi Vallis and Gregor Beyerle are the masterminds behind the electronic music project REAPER. And of course they announced a new album and a new single and have been working on it for quite a while. We all remember their funny videos for REAPER trash TV to make waiting a little easier and now the band announced that their new single ‘Der Schnitter’ will be released on 26th June on Infacted Recordings. Yes, one month later than planned. The single will be limited to 500 copies and you will find a huge surprise on it: Henrik Iversen of NAMNAMBULU took part in one of the remixes.
