On 20th & 21st July the ninth Amphi Festival starts off with more than 40 acts on three stages at the beautiful Tanzbrunnen Cologne. Headliners, legends, cult acts and newcomers, they all find their place in this year´s festival line up, ready to be celebrated, commemorated and discovered! New album by Warsaw's VEDONIST is out! The album entitled “A Clockwork Chaos” has just been released via Witching Hour Productions. Nine new songs were recorded at the end of last year in 3 studios (Sophiria Studio, Huge Studio and Top Secret Studio). Later the music was mixed and mastered by Wieslawski Bros (Behemoth, Vader). Cover artwork was designed by Pachu, band's singer and professional graphic designer who won Fryderyk Award (Grammy counterpart) for one of Acid Drinkers covers. Photo session was done by Kobaru (photographer responsible for Behemoth pictures, among others). “A Clockwork Chaos” can already be purchased at label’s website. The German electropop act Technoir is back! After years of almost complete silence (the band's last album, "Deliberately Fragile" was released in 2006), Steffen Gehring returns with the video "We Came For Love". Expect strong male fronted electropop which will please De/Vision and Mesh fans for sure. The track is also the next single for Technoir. The single will be out in June 6th as a download. Norwegian rockers Malice In Wonderland recently shot a video for their upcoming single "Live For Today", taken from their forthcoming album "The Royal Brigade".
The 4 piece shot the video in their hometown Bergen and wanted to make a "classic" rock n' roll video. "We basically wanted the first single and video to showcase what Malice In Wonderland is all about. A hard rock band with attitude and edge", says front man Chris Wicked. "To not just have the performance part I surrounded myself with my favourite animals; snakes, spiders and crocodiles and we let the cameras rolling. It was a quite interesting day on the set with the film crew standing on chairs, especially when we let lose a crocodile. I guess they were afraid of their toes. However that just made the atmosphere more intense!", smiles the singer.
