Helsinki Vampires THE 69 EYES have released more info on the band's upcoming single, „Red“. The track comes off the bands highly anticipated new album, „X“, which is going to be unleashed September 29, 2012 via Nuclear Blast. Other than its predecessor, „Back In Blood“, „X“ was recorded in Stockholm, Sweden and is the logical follow-up to the bands millennial milestones, „Blessed Be“ and „Paris Kills“, encompassing the typical scandinavian melancholy and melody for which THE 69 EYES are so well known and loved for.

Finnish extreme melodic metal superstars, CHILDREN OF BODOM, have released the following statement regarding their frontman, Alexi Laihos stay in an Oslo hospital for the past week and a half: "We are happy to announce that Alexi will be leaving the hospital in Oslo tomorrow, Thursday, 12th of July, and are also glad to confirm that the band will be able to play Ilosaarirock Festival. The Hate Crew is rolling again! More info shortly…"

Sweden’s ultimate purveyor of dark rock/metal, Katatonia, have announced dates for an extensive European tour in support of their forthcoming 9th album 'Dead End Kings' which hits stores in Europe on August 27th & North American on 28th August through Peaceville Records.
