4th November 2009Samsas Traum, Alight
In order to celebrate their 13th year as band, SAMSAS TRAUM thought of a special present for their fans: a birthday tour. And as a little extra special, the fans had the possibility to hand in their wishes concerning the setlist and what has been voted most will be played, no matter if it is old or new. So now there is no saying how the final setlist will look like, for the constant changes the band's style has gone through for the last 13 years. As a support, the yet rather unknown Italians of ALIGHT will be there, a definite contrast to SAMSAS TRAUM.

Norwegian extreme metallers PANTHEON I have been confirmed to support ABSU on the 23-date European tour due to take place this autumn. The band’s cellist, classically trained musician LIVE JULIANNE, explained about PANTHEON I’s inclusion on the tour: “We didn’t think originally that we would be able to do the tour because of other prior commitments. We had really put it completely out of our minds when the slot suddenly became available again just as we were re-scheduling a few things ourselves, so it all worked out perfectly. Playing live is something we all enjoy, and we have been looking forward to touring with the new album since we finished recording it. We’re scheduled to do a 6-date tour in Norway in September before the European tour kicks off, so right now we’re busy rehearsing and preparing. PANTHEON I never do things by halves, and we’re ready to hit the road with a vengeance ”.

Can you picture how it would sound if MOTÖRHEAD, SLAYER and ELVIS PRESLEY locked themselves up in the studio with tons of whiskey? No? Then it’s best you check out THE CUMSHOTS and get carried away by a testosterone-infused mixture of metal, rock and lots of dirt. The Norwegian band has already released 3 albums, one of which was even nominated for a Norwegian Grammy. Right in time for autumn the band puts out a new long-player with ‘A Life Less Necessary’, unleashed on 2nd October 2009.Source: Newsletter
