Hanover’s subcultural music club will start the new concert series “Synthetic X Acension” in 2023 and directly bring a banger to the stage. Nobody knows what the future will put out of the hat for us. And neither did Vasi Vallis (FROZEN PLASMA) and Krischan Jan-Eric Wesenberg (ROTERSAND) when Tom Lesczenski (:SITD:) left FUTURE LIED TO US in winter 2020 for very personal reasons. At first it was not clear if and how the band would continue…
But part of the idea of FUTURE LIED TO US has always been to surmount the future and create a new one. And so, in December 2021 Damasius Venys (Ex-MONDTRÄUME / MENTAL EXILE) was introduced as a new band member and singer. A nice step towards a better tomorrow. Because if Damasius hadn’t decided to face the unknown future together with Vasi and Krischan, we would never have enjoyed the two EPs ‘Fly away’ and ‘I hope’, released in 2022. The spherical beats and rich and catchy sounds go straight into the heart, emotional and, above all, danceable.
After the band played a few festivals last year, we can look forward to other shows of this kind and this full-time show at SubKultur Hannover. However, Vasi, Krischan and Damasius will not appear alone. Unfortunately, it is not yet known who will support the trio. So, stay tuned. And because the future doesn’t end after the concert, there’s also an after-show party waiting for you.
