Disturbed - “The Sickness 25th Anniversary Tour” - Special Guests: Megadeth
Things are happening one after another for DISTURBED: Just recently, the band released their brand new single ‘I Will Not Break’, opening a new chapter in their band history - and in this new chapter, the band is showing a surprising openness to experimentation. Frontman David Draiman recently stated in an interview that he would love to collaborate with current rap superstar Kendrick Lamar.
The band is currently working on a song that calls for a skilled rap artist - “Kendrick, if you’re at all interested, let’s go ahead and shock the world a little bit. Let’s let everybody know that we have more in common than we do that separates us. And let’s take our artistry to another level together. I would love to do that,” Draiman said in an interview with a US radio station. It’s the first new music since the 2022 album ‘Divisive’. This year, however, is not just about new things for the band: ‘The Sickness’, the band’s groundbreaking debut album, is celebrating its 25th anniversary - and will be released in a jubilee edition on March 7th for this occasion.
And there’s also a tour for this occasion! The “The Sickness 25th Anniversary Tour” starts in North America on February 25th - and now the musicians are announcing that they will also come for shows across the pond. On this occasion, they will play four shows in Germany, namely in October in Düsseldorf, Stuttgart, Munich, and Berlin. In addition to the complete album, fans can also look forward to other hits from the band’s work - and certainly to one or two new songs.
