Pet Shop Boys - “DREAMWORLD: The Greatest Hits Live”
The PET SHOP BOYS are finally returning to Germany - the most successful duo in British music history according to the Guinness Book of Records will be playing two shows here this summer! Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe have truly earned that record: since signing to Parlophone Records in 1985, all 15 of their studio albums have reached the UK Top 10, and a total of 44 singles have charted in the Top 30 - four of them at number one.
With their live shows, the PET SHOP BOYS have created a style of pop musical theatre entirely their own. Working with directors, designers and artists such as Derek Jarman, David Alden, David Fielding, Zaha Hadid, Sam Taylor-Wood, Es Devlin and Tom Scutt, they have developed a unique form of pop spectacle that has been widely acclaimed by critics.
Their very first greatest hits tour, “DREAMWORLD: The Greatest Hits Live”, began to huge acclaim in Milan in May 2022 and is now in its fifth year, having filled arenas all across Europe. Fans and critics alike continue to be enthusiastic, with the London Evening Standard describing the show as an “ecstatic presentation of 40 years of brilliance”.
Over more than 40 years, the PET SHOP BOYS have performed in 63 countries to millions of people, headlining iconic festivals and appearing on some of the world’s most important stages, including Roskilde, Glastonbury, multiple editions of Primavera Sound, New York’s Madison Square Garden, the Hollywood Bowl and London’s Hyde Park, to name just a few.
Alongside their own music, Tennant and Lowe have collaborated with a wide range of artists and major names such as LADY GAGA, MADONNA, BLUR, DAVID BOWIE, YOKO ONO, THE KILLERS and NOEL GALLAGHER. They have also written the West End musical ‘Closer to Heaven’, a ballet and several film scores. In addition, they performed at the London Olympic Games in 2012 and were honoured in the 2000s for their outstanding contribution to the British music scene with the Ivor Novello Award and a BRIT Award.
In summer 2026, the PET SHOP BOYS will bring their celebrated “DREAMWORLD: The Greatest Hits Live” tour to new stages - including Berlin and Mönchengladbach. Anyone who doesn’t want to miss this world-class live experience should secure their tickets as soon as possible.
