‘Well 'eavy - Vol. 1’ is an underground heavy metal compilation, put together by Britain’s rising heavy metal force AMULET (who debuted on Century Media in September 2014 with the album ‘The First’ and did with critical acclaim) and released by the band’s own Hangman label. This limited vinyl-only sampler features new and/ or rare tracks of new hopeful metal bands from all around the globe including such phenomenal acts as BLACK MAGIC with ‘Voodoo Curse’, NATUR with the output ‘Poison King’, DRACULA with ‘The Baroness’, FLIGHT with the earworm ‘Escape’, ASCALON with the killer hymn ‘Ascalon’, RANGER who introduce themselves with the song ‘Shock Skull’ or WATCHER with ‘Murder at the Castle’, just to name a few.
Conclusion: My personal highlights on this really cool and down to earth compilation are the outputs of ASCALON, STONE DAGGER, THE DAGGER and FLIGHT. If you own a record player just buy this album it`s great fun.
