To be honest I don’t know many bands from Belgium but I know for sure that this country is great at creating awesome chocolate and beer and that makes them good people in my book. HUNTER is band from Belgium (Est. 2016) and they sound more like beer, booze and bare boobs that chocolate! The vocals are over the top exalted and sometimes just massively cheesy but the mix is like a Whiskey-Cola to go: fast, sweet and deadly if done right. My mate Joost (Guitars) sent me this LP to review and I must say it is good, innocent fun. You might get a headache the next day but the night before was a lot of fun so don’t think too much lay back and enjoy songs like: ‘Glorious’ or ‘Dominion’.
Conclusion: David Walgrave’s voice is a bit more on the rough side, so if you like bands like GRAVEDIGGER or ACCEPT - you should check this out my friend.
