Rhombus
It feels surreal to be hovering near a shelf full of Star Wars figures, in a record store in the middle of Huddersfield watching RHOMBUS, but that is exactly where I find myself on a Saturday afternoon in October. It’s national album day and music giants, HMV, are hosting gigs in their stores across the UK. RHOMBUS was formed in 2003 by Edward Grassby (vocals and base) and Rob Walker (drums and percussion). Their eclectic style of music has amassed a following across Britain, Europe. The current line-up is Edward, Rob, Alixandrea Corvyn (additional vocals) and Lee Talbot (drums). The band are here to promote Their latest album: ‘The Longest Day.’

Porcupine Tree - “Closure / Continuation.” Tour 2022
You can safely call this a sensation: after twelve years, the new album ‘Closure / Continuation’ by PORCUPINE TREE was released. The first track was already available on all major streaming platforms before. ‘Harridan’ makes it easy to re-enter the world and the sound of the British. The eight-minute trip sums up a lot that defines PORCUPINE TREE and their music that transcends all borders - but of course not everything. Because how should the enormous wealth of ideas of guitarist and singer Steven Wilson, keyboardist Richard Barbieri and drummer Gavin Harrison be fully developed in just one piece?

Perturbator, Health and Author&Punisher
Wroclaw is one of those happy places on the map where world-class stars come to delight us and make us enchanted with the amazing energy of their music. Both PERTURBATOR, sometimes called “the prince of darkness”, and AUTHOR&PUNISHER visited my beautiful city once again and served such a number of excellent sounds that some people had their ears and muscles healed for a few days after the concert.
