With Full Force Day 2: LAMB OF GOD, CALIBAN, AMON AMARTH, CHILDREN OF BODOM and KNORKATOR
After a short and cold night, day two arrived. I sat down on my chair in front of my tent and - as every morning - CALIBAN went by and said a friendly “Good morning”. I was at the With Full Force Festival. This day promised to be good. And so, although I wasn’t really awake up to that point, I was looking forward for all the upcoming bands.

WACKEN OPEN AIR - Day 1: LETZTE INSTANZ, SODOM, MAROON and SAXON
It took us 5hs of driving to get to the small village called Wacken. The biggest heavy metal festival of the world was ahead of us and we were looking forward to see big bands such as BLIND GUARDIAN, ICED EARTH, IMMORTAL and TYPE O NEGATIVE. This was the first day and our mood was on its highest.

Front Line Assembly, Portion Control
This summer evening in July, the Röhre in Stuttgart had invited to watch two of the best-known EBM bands live on stage; as openers the visitors were to see the veterans from PORTION CONTROL, and after that the notorious FRONT LINE ASSEMBLY were to appear on the small Röhre stage. Quite a few people had gathered there, and during the evening more were coming, though in the end the Röhre still wasn’t sold out. As one could expect there weren't many teenagers attending this event, as these bands surely aren't that well-known among the younger generations. We were looking forward to a nice concert evening, which started at about nine o'clock.

M’era Luna Festival Day 1 - Hangar Stage: Pesticide, Down Below, Fair to Midland, Animal Alpha, Pain, Cultus Ferox, Nosferatu, Emilie Autumn, My Dying Bride, Suicide Commando
While at the main stage the bands were playing in the cleared up day, there was also room for smaller bands and newcomers on the Hangar stage. So you could see there PESTICIDE who jumped in for BLOODPIT, DOWN BELOW who already had quite some success at the Amphi Festival, FAIR TO MIDLAND from USA who were quite a stranger musically within the festival line-up, the Metal heads of PAIN followed by some medieval music of CULTUS FEROX. With NOSFERATU and MY DYING BRIDE, one could discover the darker side of guitar based music while EMILIE AUTUMN was more a theatre play than a concert. Headliner in the Hangar was SUICIDE COMMANDO with their hard electronic music.
