Rockhard Festival Day 2: Metal Inquisitor, Maroon, Turisas, Korpiklaani, Ross the Boss, Vader, Armored Saint, Death Angel
Thank *insertnameofdeityhere* we made it home early Friday night, getting up was hard enough - and I wasn't even drunk the evening before! Oh, were things going to get nasty on Saturday. If I'd known in advance I would've just stayed put and pretended I'd snared my pinky on my key holder and hurt it. But then I would've missed out on all the fun and fairies....

On Friday 8th June 2007 once again we went to Bochum into the Matrix club to enjoy a concert in this famous nice location, famous for good atmosphere during concerts, but also notorious for very hot temperatures during concerts. The evening was opened by X-DIVIDE from Cologne.

WGT DAY 1: REMEMBER TWILIGHT, HOLODNE SONZE, POISONBLACK, CREMATORY, ENTWINE, AMORPHIS, THE RETROSIC and IN THE NURSERY/OPENING PARTY
The Wave Gotik Treffen (WGT) is one of the biggest Gothic festivals in the world and every year, around 20,000 people gather around at the Agra hall to party and see fantastic bands at locations all around Leipzig. This year, with bands like ZERAPHINE, ASP, UNTOTEN, EMILIE AUTUMN, FETISH:MENSCH and SUBWAY TO SALLY it was promised to be a highlight in every Gothic’s calendar. Besides those top-class bands you were able to buy clothes, CDs and all sorts of other stuff. Places like the Heidnische Dorf really made this festival special because you have all sorts of different music coming together in one whole pot. On one side, you have the classical gothic music, than you got the whole industrial side of the music up to high class metal. The WGT was definitely one of the best festivals you can think of going to. [Ruth Gräbeldinger] www.wave-gotik-treffen.de

Rockhard Festival Day 1: Bullet, Crucified Barbara, Cataract, Heaven Shall Burn, Grave Digger, Hammerfall
Once upon a time I was asked to leave my home and march into the fields where scores of brothers and warriors would await me - to do some battle banging, moshing and drinking at this years annual Rock Hard Festival. “Wheezers, how jolly”, thought I, whilst my young and happy heart danced and pranced about gaily in my chest. Alas, memories of never ever having been fortunate enough to see At The Gates or Carcass live clouded my thoughts, yet the prospect of seeing this and that band was like a golden shower of sunrays doing some cloud busting.
