Interview with James Mendez (Music / Lyrics / Vocals) from Jihad
Many people know how I like old-school Industrial / EBM projects as the forerunner of modern genres and styles. It is their music - they created these same genres, working on their definition and content. In the mid 00's we saw the flash of interest to electro-scene, we are seeing some decline now, and I have often wondered - what happened to the pioneers of the style, scene, which built it?

As we're living in the time of multimedia we thought doing some video interviews from time to time might be interesting for you. Sometimes there will be interviews in German language with English subtitles, sometimes we prepare them in English for you. It will depend on who we are talking to. We're opening our video-topic with Erk and Racso of HOCICO, who answered some of our questions at Kasematten festival last weekend and we got Racso (who is mostly silent during interviews) to give answers to.

Kris Vlad / VLAD IN TEARS: “People shouldn't be afraid of smiling just because they're dressed black”. VLAD IN TEARS, Italian/ German Gothic Rock band from Berlin, are going to play DMF 2015. Right before the festival we got to talk to Kris Vlad, band leader and founder, the voice and “heart” of VLAD IN TEARS. It was about making a new video and love their loyal fans deserve, about priceless moments on tours and enjoying beautiful Berlin parks, about the way you can get Vlad addict and something you haven’t do not to see Kris as Evil on earth – there’re just some topics to make you curious… So, here we go…

Interview withTorben Schmidt (owner of Infacted Recordings, keyboarder of Suicide Commando)
The friendly, oftentimes seemingly shy Torben Schmidt is not only musician and DJ but also the man behind Infacted Recordings. How to remain as relaxed and calm between all the trouble with band releases, own performances and a daughter remains a secret to me. That's why I asked Torben to answer some questions about his label, his activity for Suicide Commando and the fact that I always run into him in a blue hoodie. Read yourselves!

Interview withHilton Theissen (lead vocals & guitar), Rickard Gunnarsson (backing vocals, bass guitar & keyboard) and Mathias Thürk (synthesizer & machines) of Seadrake
Some days ago, SEADRAKE and their video for the single ‘On the Run’ was presented. The band itself consists of Hilton Theissen, active for AKANOID, Rickard Gunnarson, whom some may know from LOWE or STATEMACHINE and Mathias Thürk who was active for MINERVE until 2012. Already the enumeration of the names of the members of the trio sounds literally like many different musical ideas and influences. We didn't only choose one member of the band for our interview corner but instantly all three declared themselves ready to justify themselves.
