Interview with:
Alan Wilder / Recoil
Alan Wilder aka RECOIL finished his USA, Canada and South America tour successfully and will be back in Europe at the end of November. After touring for nearly half a year performing, Recoil will play his final concert in Budapest at Szikra on the 4th of December. I was lucky enough to have the chance to speak with Mr. Wilder about Recoil's South America tour, about his memories of the famous Exotic Tour '94 - in support of DEPECHE MODE's eighth studio album ‘Songs Of Faith And Devotion’ - and about his plans for the near future. This short but interesting interview was done via electronic mail at the time of the cancellation of the Cordoba 'Event' in Argentina. Alan was very disappointed because he really wanted to do this gig - unfortunately, this whole thing was completely out of his control. You know, he's not just a synth-pop icon but he also has a heart for the fans... Here is the proof.

Interview with:
Mariusz Duda of Lunatic Soul and Riverside
Mariusz Duda is a singer and a bassist from RIVERSIDE, a post-progressive Rock/Metal band from Warsaw that gained recognition with their ‘Reality Dream’ trilogy albums, on which they followed with ‘Anno Domini High Definition’ LP and accompanied DREAM THEATER on the tour as their opening act. Duda has also created a solo project ‘LUNATIC SOUL’ comprising of two albums (for now), which take the listener on a journey that is in his words “an oriental-trans-psychedelic-verbal-musical journey through the pitch darkness available to those who have... a lunatic soul.” During my phone interview with him, Mariusz Duda has discussed the impulses and nature of it as well as matters of RIVERSIDE and several other subjects...

Ahrue Lustre (guitar) of Ill Nino
ILL NINO continues to use their voices for political and cultural justice! Many know ILL NINO best for their huge emphasis on Spanish culture, using a mix of tribal percussion and Spanish / English lyrics while painting a picture full of hard rock and nu-metal sound. Ever since their debut album ‘Revolucion Revolution,’ they’ve captivated audiences with album after album, each getting progressively better and better. Each album - unlike so many in the music world - has really had something to say, be it political, cultural, or relationship based so everyone who listens to it can feel some sort of connection to the message. On their latest album, ‘Dead New World’, ILL NINO try something a little different, and with a new perspective and new label home, have their strongest lyrical material with a full arsenal of hard rock to deliver to date. I got a chance to discuss the album with Ahrue Luster, who has been with the band as a guitarist since their second album.

Lord Eibon of Eibon la Furies
Out of the darkness of the British Black Metal scene rises the standard of EIBON LA FURIES to lead the faithful onward to a new golden dawn of Victorian Occult and Jack the Ripper inspired sonic dissonance. Since their first demos several years ago, EIBON LA FURIES have been a fervently independent voice, a prime example being the infamous piano and female vocal cover of DARKTHRONE's classic 'Transylvanian Hunger' which divided the Black Metal world. But fresh from a slot at the prestigious Bloodstock Festival in 2009 the band was signed to Code666 records and now is ready to open the book on a new chapter with the release of their debut 'The Blood of the Realm'. Sean M. Palfrey communes through the ether with Lord Eibon.
