The newest album of IN STRICT CONFIDENCE has been long in coming indeed. I remember first rumours about an upcoming release popping up some time in 2008. But well, what can you do? Good things just take their time, whereas good is quite a subjective term when it comes to music. Could be seen when the video for the single 'My Despair' premiered. While I got used to the song after a while, others couldn't at all, and opinions about the just released 'La Parade Monstrueuse' are generally mixed. Time to ask a few questions…

The newest signing on German label Accession Records, SLAVE REPUBLIC, is going to release their debut album 'Electric One' next Friday. As we were highly impressed and positively surprised by the record, it was quickly settled we'd do an interview to learn more about the project and the album 'Electric One'.

Interview with Alan Wilder / Recoil
RECOIL, the solo project of ex-DEPECHE MODE member Alan Wilder, is set to release an album in the spring of 2010 entitled 'Selected'. This release is a selection of classic RECOIL tracks chosen by Alan Wilder who says: "The collection is made up of my personal favourites, re-mastered and edited together into what I consider a cohesive and total listening experience." So far, the 'Selected' formats have been confirmed in a single CD version as well as a double pack CD format. The double CD will feature a second disc which will include many new remixes and alternative versions, again chosen and edited together by Alan and Paul Kendall. In support of the album, there will be a RECOIL Events tour which will take place across Europe and in the US between March and May.

Interview with Chris Harms (vocals) of Lord of the Lost
LORD OF THE LOST was formed in 2008 by Chris Harms (vocals, guitar), Sebsta (guitar), Sensai (guitar), Class (bass) and Any (drums). The band’s debut album ‘Fears’ was released the 19th of January 2010. When you learn that Chris Harms is writing songs mostly every day, you are not that surprised to read on the band’s MySpace page that they are planning to start with recording the second album next month. But for now let’s focus on the band’s debut album ‘Fears’.

Never short of something interesting to offer. With the release of 'Nifelvind' this month to immense critical acclaim, FINTROLL seem to be claiming 2010 as their own. Since I had the chance to speak to lead singer Vreth earlier in the year, he piqued my interest in the band so I decided to find out a little more about the history of FINTROLL and what makes them tick.
