Pluswelt Festival IX: Mesh, Clan Of Xymox, Sono, Portion Control, Scream Silence, Escape With Romeo, Dupont
Last 2-days edition of the Pluswelt festival in April was nothing but a success and it would’ve come close to heresy not to continue with the festival in 2010. For the 2010 edition, however, a few things have changed. For the first time in the event’s history, there’ll be 6 bands performing and there’s also no stylistic separation anymore like experienced in 2009. So if you’ll be attending the festival this year, you’ll get a mixed bag of styles. 2010 will have 2 Pluswelt festivals as well - in different cities this time. The series is being kicked off on 29th October with it taking place for the first time in Germany’s capital Berlin, and on 30th October a usual in Krefeld at Kulturfabrik. Now enough of the common festival talk and let’s have a look at the artists enlisted for the events:

BLOODSTOCK can confirm the addition of OCTOBER FILE to the SOPHIE LANCASTER STAGE. Since 2004 OCTOBER FILE have made a name for themselves with their industrial punk-soaked metallic hardcore, earning rave reviews in the rock press and with celebrity fans such as Paul Raven and Jaz Coleman. Death Thrash Metallers HELLISH OUTCAST announced today that KEEP OF KALESSIN front man Thebon will replace the band’s former vocalist Sjalg Otto, who is leaving the band to pursue other interests. Thebon, whose new role will in no way affect his work with KEEP OF KALESSIN, is already rehearsing with HELLISH OUTCAST, and laying down the vocals for the band’s upcoming album. His first live appearance with the band will be at this year’s Hole in the Sky Festival in Bergen, Norway, where HELLISH OUTCAST is due to appear at the Hits for Kidz event on Saturday 28 August.- WITHIN TEMPTATION - 2011 tour on sale
