Finally someone says it: “Things Are Great”! As always, BAND OF HORSES have taken their time with a new album whose title is as hopeful and positive as it gets. Great it has become again, the new record, which was released in early March 2022. But that was to be expected. Like no other band, the indie rockers channelled the fear of an entire generation in the noughties and gave it a musical form. With their furious debut album ‘Everything All The Time’ and the successful album ‘Infinite Arms’ they set milestones. Now BAND OF HORSES have returned to their origins with their new album.

SMASHING PUMPKINS have released their brand-new single ‘Beguiled’ today, along with details on their highly anticipated twelfth studio album, a three-act rock opera titled ‘ATUM’ (pronounced ‘autumn’), which is due out in April 2023.

‘ATUM’ will contain 33 tracks - with each track being featured chronologically each week on Corgan’s podcast - and is the follow-up to 1995’s ‘Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness’ and 2000’s ‘Machina/Machine of God’. ‘ATUM’ became written and produced by Corgan for the last 4 years. Each eleven-song act will be released on digital streaming platforms every eleven weeks to coincide with the podcast: Act 1 on November 15, 2022. Act 2 on January 31, 2023. Due to keyboarder Darius’ cancer and an operation that was successful but needs healing, ARCHIVE postpone their tour planned for this autumn until next year. Darius thanked his fans for their sympathy in a video: “I’m totally overwhelmed by how many people sent their love and support for me, it’s amazing and you can’t believe how much it means to have that support, thank you all so much. We’re going come back so strong for this tour, stay positive with me and let’s smash it next year!”
