Because we have to stick together to endure the agonizing live break and because extraordinary circumstances require extraordinary measures, HELLOWEEN invited their friends from HAMMERFALL to their European tour to put together a massive Metal package. The alliance entitled “United Forces” Tour not only provides the fans with the full HELLOWEEN service, they also enjoy the finest Swedish steel from the forge of HAMMERFALL. Both bands will bring brand-new studio albums with them, the songs of which European fans will hear live for the first time on the upcoming “United Forces” Tour 2023. So, the long-awaited end of the dry spell is approaching in early 2023, and quite appropriately in a double dose - after all, we have to catch up on Metal party after more than two years and cure a lot of withdrawal symptoms. Andi Deris: “We’re really looking forward to having our friends from HAMMERFALL on the tour! In 2002 the band produced their album ‘Crimson Thunder’ in my studio in Tenerife and we had a lot of fun together back then. This mega package delivers the appropriate Metal spectacle to finally go full throttle on stage again after a long time!” Oscar Dronjak can hardly wait either: “We are really looking forward to the tour! Not only is it finally back on the road after two endless years, but also with HELLOWEEN, who we love and who were a great inspiration to start HAMMERFALL in the first place. For dry practice in advance, a unique new HELLOWEEN album was released in the summer, which is already a sensation in itself with the combination of the singers Kiske, Deris & Hansen and reminiscences of all eras of the band’s history, and HAMMERFALL were also delivering new song material before the tour. A decent run-up to warm up for the double load of live power on the ultimate “United Forces” tour.
