Alice Cooper - “Too Close For Comfort” Tour 2024 - Special Guest: Doro
ALICE COOPER will be going on tour again in 2024. After announcing the dates for this summer at the end of last year, he has now revealed six additional performances for October of this year, including the undisputed Metal Queen DORO! After a successful and busy year in 2023, during which he traveled across North America with 67 concerts and released his latest album ‘Road’, he is finally bringing his new stage show back to Germany.
Cooper, who was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, typically spends up to six months a year on the road, presenting his spectacular stage show to old and new fans, enjoying the stage performances as much as the audience. As the inventor of Shock Rock, Cooper continues to surprise his fans with his spectacular stage show, much like a good horror movie.
The album ‘Road’, released on August 25, 2023, via earMUSIC, was produced by Bob Ezrin and written, composed, and recorded with his current touring band. With 12 new Rock’n’Roll songs and a cover of THE WHO, it bridges the gap between his total of 29 studio albums and delivers everything one would expect from a classic Cooper album, and much more. This time, his longtime bandmates - Ryan Roxie (guitar), Chuck Garric (bass), Tommy Henriksen (guitar), Glen Sobel (drums), and Nita Strauss (guitar) - are on board. Recently, ‘Theatre Of Death - Live At Hammersmith 2009’ was also released for the first time on vinyl via earMUSIC.
