ACTORS from Vancouver can best be described as a “post-post-punk” band. They belong alongside bands like THE SOFT MOON and COLD CAVE, who propel their music forward with a deep understanding of the past. Stylistically, the four Canadians draw on the entire spectrum from post-punk to dark wave and new wave, creating a driving and cinematic post-punk sound with influences from BOWIE and ROXY MUSIC.
