Fear Factory - “Cybernetic Domination Tour 2026” - Special Guests: Crystal Lake, Hate, The Nocturnal Affair

With FEAR FACTORY, the undeniable kings of Industrial Metal return to concert stages worldwide! In their extensive 36-year history, the band has experienced many ups and downs, navigating through periods of soaring success and personal differences - yet somehow, all of it has only made them stronger. This was proven not only by their most recent studio album, ‘Aggression Continuum’ (2021), but also by their breathtaking live shows, five of which German fans can experience this coming September in Cologne, Hamburg, Berlin, Munich, and Karlsruhe.

They were more than just followers of a previously unknown sound when FEAR FACTORY formed in 1989 under the name ULCERATION; with their wild mix of Thrash and Groove Metal combined with pounding Industrial, they helped define a new genre: Industrial Metal. Initially rooted more firmly in death metal, the three founding members - Burton C. Bell (vocals, keyboards), Dino Cazares (guitar, bass), and Raymond Herrera (drums) - developed a new sonic aesthetic that blasted from the speakers with a sound as brutal as it was futuristic, and as terrifying as it was emotional.

Following their programmatically titled 1992 debut, ‘Soul of a New Machine’, they achieved a breakthrough in the USA and the UK with their second album, ‘Demanufacture’ (1995). With the 1998 successor ‘Obsolete’, where FEAR FACTORY condensed their unique genre-mix into an initial internal peak, they became the new stars of the Metal scene worldwide: despite its uncompromising hardness, the album climbed high in the charts across numerous nations. FEAR FACTORY is among the long-lasting metal bands with perhaps one of the highest rates of member fluctuation, though each member continually brought new impulses to the group.

Wild disputes frequently broke out, particularly between the two heads of the band, Burton C. Bell and Dino Cazares, leading to a temporary dissolution in 2007. After Bell finally left the band in 2021, FEAR FACTORY presented themselves on their current album ‘Aggression Continuum’ with new frontman Milo Silvestro, appearing for the first time in this line-up while maintaining their classic strength.

The special guests also lend additional depth and a rare international excitement to this tour’s lineup. CRYSTAL LAKE from Tokyo will provide high-energy, Asian-influenced moments with their explosive metalcore. HATE, one of the most respected Polish extreme metal bands, will deliver a relentless assault of dark black and death metal based on decades of underground credibility. Meanwhile, THE NOCTURNAL AFFAIR from Las Vegas will bring a darker, melodic dimension, weaving together Gothic and atmospheric rock elements - thus doing their part to condense these five evenings into highly multi-layered, powerful Metal sonic journeys.
