Nitzer Ebb & Front 242 - “Join the Forces” Tour - Special Guest: Liebknecht
I am rarely so enthusiastic, but after the concerts from the Berlin leg of the “Join the Forces” tour, there is only one thing that comes to my mind - it was a spectacular, completely unique event! Absolutely amazing concerts, the one-of-a-kind atmosphere - a real celebration of music! On this (fairly warm) January evening, Columbiahalle turned into one big dancing, enthusiastic cluster of musical fireworks, and I think if you took the energy generated by the artists and the gathered crowd, it might have lit up the whole of Berlin. Until the morning.

Alter Bridge - “Pawns & Kings Tour 2022” - Support: Halestorm & Mammoth WVH
What a package! ALTER BRIDGE alone were reason enough to make the trip to Cologne. But the two support acts that the US quartet took with them on tour are no strangers either. Because as support both HALESTORM and MAMMOTH WVH were allowed to perform. And together, the three US bands formed a package that is hard to ignore.

Nightwish - “HUMAN.:||:NATURE European Tour” 2022 - Support: Beast In Black & Turmion Kätilöt
Weaved into the dark movement of nebulous musical strands, Symphonic Metal has been stealthily building up a growing army of followers. And Scandinavia has, for some time, been a hotbed of Gothic Symphonic Metal helmed by Finland’s NIGHTWISH who have re-emerged with the latest double CD opus of their inimitable addition to this genre. Actually, “HUMAN.:||:NATURE European Tour” was waiting in the wings to present the songs from the new album to the public. First, the Corona epidemic, then Floor’s illness, but fortunately everything worked out and the band gives concerts around Europe with renewed vigor.

Amorphis & Eluveitie - “Co-Headliner Tour” 2022 - Support: Nailed To Obscurity, Dark Tranquillity
Last Friday marked the first day with snow in Munich and thus traffic slowed down, leading to the fact that there was no chance to make it to Zenith in the north of Munich in time for NAILED TO OBSCURITY. When I arrived at the venue, the place was pretty full and DARK TRANQUILITY rocked out with the audience.

Nightwish - “HUMAN.:||:NATURE European Tour” 2022 - Support: Beast In Black & Turmion Kätilöt
Nobody knew in the last few weeks whether NIGHTWISH would play the current concerts at all. Singer Floor Jansen was recovering from cancer for some time, but fortunately the news came that she was cancer-free and so the band and the audience could look forward to a nice evening. The opening act was the Finnish bands BEAST IN BLACK and TURMION KÄTILÖT.
