Blind Guardian
It is a welcoming change that German bands tour Finland more often. While for some bands that are headlining German festivals, visiting Finland is still some sort of initiation, Blind Guardian have been already here numerous times, including gigs on the central metal festival of the country, Tuska. This time, the band appeared in a club gig with songs from their latest release ‘Beyond the Red Mirror’, published in January 2015. http://www.blind-guardian.com/

Rock im Revier 2015 Day 2: Arcane Roots, Orchid, Triggerfinger, Paradise Lost, Bonaparte, Babymetal, The Hives, Eisbrecher, Incubus, Muse
The second festival day still did not look like summer and while it was dry in our way it started raining just when we arrived. Besides, it was not really warm either. But there were some cool bands coming up, ready to increase the heat level, and we were anxious to check some of them out. It is just a little sad that the distances were quite far between stages and we misses some bands definitely being worth a glimpse, such as TRUCKFIGHTERS, BRANT BJORK or SAINT VITUS. But you can’t have it all I guess…

FortaRock 2015: Slipknot, Epica, Lamb of God, Parkway Drive, Godsmack, Enforcer, Leprous, Converge, Dying Fetus, Red Fang, Hatebreed, Carach Angren, Sylosis, Papa Roach, Flotsam and Jetsam, Exodus, Clutch, Venom
FortaRock, the “heaviest day in the park”, is one of the only big rock/ metal festivals left in The Netherlands and quite popular among a certain audience. In 2013, the festival was upgraded to an XL version with bigger bands and a larger location at the Goffertpark in Nijmegen.

Rock im Revier 2015 Day 1: Exodus, Hatebreed, ...And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead, Testament, Within Temptation, Anathema, Faith No More, Meshuggah, Dir en Grey, Metallica
The headlines that festival made in advance. The date and name of that which started as Grüne Hölle Rock at Nürburgring was changed at first and after non-satisfying presales, the location was also changed. Mockery, shit storm but also a lot of dangerous superficial knowledge and polemics made a circuit. Even though many won't believe it the presale recovered and the Veltins Arena at Schalke was found as a new partner and thus, a rock-stronger alternative to Rock am Ring could take place. EXODUS made the beginning on the so-called Big Stage which was directly positioned in the stadium.

Wave Gotik Treffen 2015 Day 4: Dr. Mark Benecke, Spiral 69, Sea+Air, Terrolokaust, Die Kammer, Nachtmahr, The Exploding Boy, Soko Friedhof, Mila Mar, Diorama, Party Hopping
General opinion ''All bands are playing at once!'' We were also on the road for you on the festival's last day. And even after three days of partying, we were astoundingly fit. We were queuing at the Schauspielhaus for you today in order to get one of the desired seats at Mark Benecke's, we were in the Agra for TERROLOKAUS and MACHTMAHR, experienced MILA at the Heidnisches Dorf, had a glimpse of the shows at the Landratsamt and enjoyed SOKO FRIEDHOF and DIORAMA finally.
