Wave Gotik Treffen 2015 Day 3: Dupont, Arise- X, Empathy Test, Dalriada, Keluar, Clan of Xymox, Veil of Light, Arkona, King Dude, Tempers, Mono Inc., Latex fashion show by Bella Holmes, Party Hopping
Funny Netherlanders with laser words, latex fashion show and DM party! After our party hopping deluxe on the day before, the sun was shining wonderfully when we fell into our beds and when we got up a few hours later again it still did. Sunday was promising a lot of good bands, one could meet all the old-school EBM friends in the Stadtbad at DUPONT, NZ or JÄGER 90, explore new bands at the Volkspalast or enjoy some synth pop at the Kohlrabizirkus.

Midge Ure with band
End of last year I saw MIDGE URE, singer of legendary ULTRAVOX, with his acoustic performance. Now he is back with a full band! Before stating his "Breathe Again" tour through Germany where he will perform the entire 'Breathe' album for the first time in 2015. But before that tour, he came for some additional shows with his band. On stage he was accompanied by Russell Field, Phil Williams and Phil Taylor. Besides his solo hits, he was also playing a selection of his other gems like ‘Vienna’, ‘Dancing with Tears in My Eyes’, or ‘Fade to Grey’. I was really curious how his show with band would be compared to his acoustic solo shows.

Wave Gotik Treffen 2015 Day 1: Rabbit At War, Electronic Noice, L’Âme Immortelle, .com/kill, Blutengel, Steinkind, Antimatter, Deine Lakaien, Feuerschwanz, Eisbrecher
Arriving, Observing, Finding Your Way, Dancing! The town is black. At least a bit. Either the number of visitors has decreased at the 24th Wave Gotik Treffen or it was spread to more smaller locations. Maybe it was the train strike's fault that some didn't find their way to the trade fair town at all.

The Australian Pink Floyd Show
Even the “real” PINK FLOYD were once in the Halle Münsterland in 1971 and it is not the first time the AUSTRALIAN PINK FLOYD SHOW had a stop in the Westphalia metropolis. The show set for the 28th April had to be cancelled shortly beforehand unfortunately because parts of the roof were dissolving and the security of the visitors shouldn't be in danger. All damage was repaired at the surrogate date and the well-filled circles proved that such things don't impress a PINK FLOYD fan. Around 2,200 spectators followed the call of the Australian cover band which has made it their task to perform the songs of the British prog rock pioneers as authentic as possible. The average age was among the audience and on stage visibly higher than at different concerts so that one or the other in the audience might have still seen the original. http://www.aussiefloyd.com / https://www.facebook.com/australianpinkfloyd
