David Garrett Trio - “Iconic Tour” 2024
He is both a Pop star and a classical musician. DAVID GARRETT, with his 400-year-old Stradivari violin, can certainly be called one of the most interesting artists of our time. David Christian Bongartz was born on 4 September 1980 in Aachen and was recognised as a musical wunderkind at a young age. His extraordinary talent for playing the violin has made him one of the most famous virtuosos of our time. At the age of 12, he signed his first recording contract with a record company, which at the time was purely classical. Today he often writes crossover music, such as on the album ‘Rock Synphonies’, where he recreates classic rock compositions on the violin.

Depeche Mode - “Memento Mori Tour” 2024
When adult people, some of them beyond the age of 50, are crying and embracing each other, then you know, that was the last concert of the current DEPECHE MODE tour - and who knows, maybe also the last concert ever. Die 80er live - the biggest 80s Party of the World - with Cutting Crew, Tony Hadley, ABC - Martin Frey, Sandra, Nik Kershaw, Gazebo, Paul Young, Samantha Fox, Alphaville, Holly Johnson
No other time was as diverse and colourful in terms of fashion and music as the 80s. Young people wore colourful pants and shirts, parents criticized the hairstyles and the music. Almost 40 years later, these young people have grown up and are without a doubt now criticizing their own children. On this day, over 44,000 fans came to Gelsenkirchen to the Veltins-Arena and celebrated a mega party, just like in Düsseldorf in 2023. On a large stage with huge LED walls, visitors were able to experience some of the stars of that time.

Impericon Festival 2024 with Paledusk, Thrown, Landmvrks, Polaris, August Burns Red, As I Lay Dying
“Same procedure as every year”. This Easter, your favourite merchandise company IMPERICON has opened the (indoor) festival season in style. And boy did they pack a punch. Europe’s biggest festival club tour has signed up so many big names for the edition of their festival, that the biggest challenge was certainly to decide which band to see on one of the two stages of the Turbinenhalle in Oberhausen. I decided to cover mainly the bands on the larger Monster Stage, as the stage times overlapped considerably.
