Doro Pesch and her band hit the stage of Nosturi club, Helsinki, on 23rd of April. Perhaps I do not have to write long lines about who she is, being one of the most famous metal female vocalists since 1980s. Her style is traditional, old-school heavy metal, a genre largely supported by the distinct group of oldies - such as PRIMAL FEAR, U.D.O and the like. With the brand-new album ‘Adamant’ on their sleeves, STAHLMANN are back on headliner tour through Germany. Besides the album, the band also brought the singles ‘Süchtig’ and ‘Schwarz’, latter one accompanied with a video clip, with them. For their shows in Cologne and Bochum, they brought MAERZFELD as support.

IAMX & Moto Boy

After the release of their new album ‘The Unified Field’, IAMX made a stop in their hometown Berlin for a single show, before heading off to some more gigs in Europe and then a large tour in the USA. When we arrived at the club around 6pm, there was just a small crowd waiting for the doors. We were wondering, because last time IAMX played in the Astra in Berlin, the crowd queued back over the yard to the street. At 06:45 PM the golden ticket owners entered the venue and about 30 minutes later the doors officially opened.

We caught up with them on a sunny Sunday evening in Oberhausen. And KMFDM brought two support acts with them, both being exclusive to the Oberhausen gig.
