Amphi Festival Day 2 Theatre Stage: Spiritual Front, Spectra*Paris, Cinema Strange, Lacrimas Profundere, Soko Friedhof, Clan of Xymox, Eisbrecher, Diary of Dreams, Die Krupps - the final option
The second day at the Theatre Stage presented good old Goth music - different to the first day where mostly electronic music was on the schedule. So, you could enjoy bands like CLAN OF XYMOX or the energetic show of DIARY OF DREAMS. A highlight at the very end of the festival was surely the show of DIE KRUPPS before people could celebrate a little more at the after show party.

Amphi Festival Day 2 Main Stage: Mediaeval Babes, The Lovecrave, Letzte Instanz, Das Ich, L´Âme Immortelle, Suicide Commando, Project Pitchfork, And One
The second festival day started a lot cooler than the first one and we were wondering if it would stay at least dry during the day. At the end, we had to fight a few short showers, but nothing too long luckily and so, people could enjoy another festival day. The day on the main stage offered a lot of different styles starting with MEDIEVAL BABES presenting some Celt music over the harsh electro of SUICIDE COMMANDO to the poppy tunes of AND ONE. [DV]

“One Frieten, please”
“Met saus?”
“Ja, gerne. Sauce Americaine, s’il vous plaît. And salted.”
“Here you are. Bon appetit!”
“Bedank U wel!”
Welcome to Belgium, the heart of Western Europe and the country with the most international festivals. Not just regarding the performing bands, but also in respect to the many different tongues you hear there. The Gothic Festival in Waregem is surely no exception here - and just as a side note, the situation described above truly happened at one of the catering stalls at the festival site.

With Full Force Festival Day 3: J.B.O., Life of Agony, Avenged Sevenfold, Cavalera Conspiracy, Primordial, Moonspell, Ensiferum and Subway to Sally
It was the last day of this year’s With Full Force Festival and I was excited since bands like AVENGEND SEVENFOLD, CAVALERA CONSPIRACY, MOONSPELL and SUBWAY TO SALLY stood on the plan for today. After an already really hot morning, the day started out with J.B.O. first.

Thin Lizzy, Dezperadoz
The boys played in my town. Already last year in November, THIN LIZZY celebrated the 30th anniversary since the recording of ‘Live and Dangerous’ the classic live album with a UK tour and now they had reached Germany. THIN LIZZY - one of rock’s best live bands. They played now in a smaller hall than the last time, but this could just mean closer to the fans and to be one with the crowd. When the support band started there were just a few lonely souls in the Matrix and I was a bit afraid that just a few people showed up to see such heroes, but I was taught later of a better one.
