7th March 2007
Element of Crime, Ed Csupkay
ELEMENT OF CRIME did not really care about coolness during the last 17 years. They changed languages as they wished; they explored new music but still continuity remained. Today, the band around singer Sven Regner is a classic of German Pop culture. Who else combines so naturally roots based in Punk with Chansons and Elements of “circus” music? Because of their very successful tour and sold out venues last year, ELEMENT OF CRIME are back for several more shows in 2007 – again with the latest album ‘Mittelpunkt der Welt’. On 7th March, they played in front of about 1,000 fans at the congress hall in the “Halle Münsterland”, supported by ED CSUPKAY.

Exilia, Da Impact
Milan-based band EXILIA is one of the few Italian Metal & Heavy Rock acts, and probably the only one who made a significant international impact. Part of EXILIA’s success is their intensive touring, and during the ‘Nobody Excluded’ tour we checked the live qualities of the Italian quartet.

Waschhaus, Potsdam, Berlin
24th February 2007
Terminal Choice
It was my first time at the Waschhaus Potsdam: a small, long hall with a comfortable atmosphere. It was a cool alternative to any club in Berlin. The concert should start at 21:00, but TERMINAL CHOICE (TC) were late. We had to wait 40 minutes - maybe a good decision of Chris and accessory. In the course of time more and more people gathered together. At the beginning this little hall almost was empty. Across the deceleration it became slowly fuller.

Billy Talent, Alexisonfire, Enter Shikari
With only two albums Canadian Punk Rockers BILLY TALENT pitchforked their way to the top. While their self-titled debut album, released 2003, was success-wise a slow grower which finally built a cult following for the band, the second album - simply titled ‘II’ and released last June - was like an explosion. BILLY TALENT’s popularity has been multiplied since then, the singles ‘Red Flag’ and ‘Fallen Leaves’ are on high rotation on MTV Europe, so it’s no surprise that BILLY TALENT are playing now venues which are three times bigger as the ones they did back in autumn 2005. About time to catch up with BILLY TALENT!
