Pink Turns Blue
With phantasmagoric beautiful Wave songs, Pink Turns Blue enchanted their listeners in the 80s and at the beginning of the 90s. This gloomy but immense soulful German Wave band, which was writing very gentle to desperate songs first of all at the beginning, could satisfy especially with the first both albums. In the 90s the band split up and it came to a very long break. In 2003 they gave a re-union concert during the "Wave Gotik Treffen" and now the new CD "Phoenix" has been released.

VNV Nation, Diorama and Soman
Only two days after my last VNV Nation concert I made my way to Dortmund to see the last concert of the European tour. Final concerts are always something special so I was looking very much forward it. We arrived half past 7 just when the doors were open for 30 minutes. So this time no waiting time outside. We directly went into a still quite filled venue and during the support bands there should come much more people in. This time the technical crew had enough time to prepare everything so the lightshow with all bands was much better.

Faun
This year it was the fifth edition of the biggest fantasy event in the Netherlands, the Elf Fantasy Fair. For two days all elves, gnomes, hobbits and witches of the Netherlands gathered in the gardens of a wonderful Castle. Actors from Lord of the Rings movies were there to sign autographs, there were also many writers and artists to sign and give lectures. Besides this there were many little shops where you could find al kinds of occult items, your fantasy shopping bag could be filled in no time. In-between your shopping, all the lectures and fantasy battles there was time to relax at the main stage and listen to the fabulous tunes of sweet music. One of the performing artists was..... Faun.

Corvus Corax
After a windy but warm and sunny day, it cooled down and it was time to seek a warm place inside. This evening the Patronaat was a nice hide out for Corvus Corax was playing. A time to see familiar faces, for they have some huge fans in the Netherlands who won’t miss any concert if they play here. There were even fans from Belgium and England who came over just for the two Corvus Corax concerts. They attract a very varied audience, old and young, gothic, metal and many more sorts and kinds of people. All came together with one goal…. to see and hear Corvus Corax play again.

VNV Nation, Diorama and Soman
We arrived at about 19.30 in Krefeld... just 30 minutes before the doors should open. There were just a lot of people waiting. Short before 20.00 a guy came out of the venue to hang up a sign that says entrance at 20.30. We all were wondering and then someone told us that the band was more then 4 hours late because of a huge traffic jam on the highway. So everything that evening was delayed. And later we should recognize some more problems due to that delay...
