10th May 2016
David Duchovny & Jeff Butcher
Over here, we know DAVID DUCHOVNY mainly as an actor in the TV series The X-Files and Californication. But the multi-talented American is also a musician and in May last year he released his debut album ‘Hell or Highwater’. The record contains twelve folk rock gems that DUCHOVNY wrote in the best singer songwriter manner. This May, DAVID DUCHOVNY is touring for the first time in Europe. He's going to present his ‘Hell or Highwater’ on the 10th in Cologne. Due to the high demand, the show was moved from Gloria to the Live-Music-Hall.

29th April 2016
The 69 Eyes & The Ghost Wolves
April 22 and April 29, 2016 – these two dates must have been marked and highlighted in the mental, electronic, or actual, old school calendars of countless German Goth rockers. The first special day was obviously the long-awaited release date of ‘Universal Monsters’, the eleventh studio album by the iconic THE 69 EYES from Helsinki, Finland. And the second one, exactly one week later, was the night we would get to hear and see the vampires live on stage at the Gloria Theater in Cologne. With its red velvet wallpapers and a stage framed by red curtains, the venue seemed like a perfect location for a musical evening with THE EYES. Gathering with the other fans in front the stage made me realize how buzzy the atmosphere was as we waited for the Scandinavian rockers to show up and bring their timeless melodies upon us. Their huge black backdrop banner with the white THE 69 EYES logo was hanging behind the drums like a firm promise for an undeniably amazing Goth'n'Roll show, which would be worth the wait since we encircled that special day in our calendars. And indeed, Jyrki & Co. didn't just meet, but actually exceeded all expectations. Many, many thanks for your music and the show, you guys!

Long Distance Calling, Tiny Fingers & Petter Carlsen (Pil & Bue)
On the evening before the new record ‘Trips’ was to be released, LONG DISTANCE CALLING played at home in Münster’s Skaters Palace in case to open their European tour. By now, the band releases its fifth album and the times when the band presents only instrumentals are gone. At the last long-player, ‘The Flood Inside’ from 2003, Martin Fischer was taking over the job on the microphone. By now, old friend Petter Carlsen is taking over the vocal part. He could already be heard together with ANATHEMA front man Vincent Cavanagh as guest on ‘Welcome Change’ from the already mentioned ‘The Flood Inside’ album. Anyway, there are several songs where the band is doing without a singer and maybe this was the reason for Carlsen to open the evening al alone only equipped with an acoustic guitar and a loop station.
