It combines the milestones of their career with the unbelievable live presence of the band. The album contains old and new live recordings, which the band’s long-time companion, Jeremy Wheatly, put together to create a new and unique concert experience. ‘25LIVE@25’ is not only the showcase of an incomparable career, but also shows the importance of SKUNK ANANSIE as a musical and cultural force. Their shows are a hurricane of energy, volume and personality. They call for becoming part of something big and impossible to resist.

They surely took the scene by storm. Since they were formed in 2013 they have been climbing up the music hill expanding their impact and fan base in an incredible way. With numerous concerts played and numerous ones still ahead, great reception from both fans and critics, fantastic music combining electronic and synth elements with an impressive emotional load and vocalic power - they seem to prove there are no limits in musical creativity and the future is bright for the talented artists from EMPATHY TEST. Their most recent release, ‘Holy Rivers’ of 2018, only proves their talent in unquestionable. I had a chance to ask a few questions to Isaac Howlett, who, as he says - was born to do music. W-Fest is delightful exemption on that rule and is also quite unique from several other perspectives. The fall of 2018 is undoubtedly a turning point for WHISPERING SONS. This young Belgian band is indeed releasing their first “long playing” album, entitled ‘Image’. Originally from Limburg, Houthalen-Helchteren, to be precise, and now established in Brussels, they have already to their credit an EP, ‘Endless Party’, published three years ago by Wool-e-Tapes and Minimal Maximal, then two singles, ‘White Noise’ and ‘Performance’, released by Weyrd Son Records. The style is Post-Punk tinged with Shoegaze and Indie Rock influences. ‘Image’ is released in the Benelux on the prestigious PiaS label. A dazzling career debut for this band, described as “the next big thing” on the “dark oriented” Indie scene.
