On March 17th, ERDLING’s new album ‘Supernova’ has been released and entered the German album charts a mere week later on #56. And of course the quartet didn’t miss taking their new songs on the road, supporting HÄMATOM on their “Wir sind Gott” tour through Germany. We met Neill, Neno and Niklas in Aschaffenburg on March 18th to have a little chit-chat!

Chris Harms: “I really do not care about being famous or not famous as long as I can touch people with the music.”
This winter, LORD OF THE LOST started their “Raining Stars” tour in Russia. The Russian audience was privileged to be the first one to see the performance of the songs from the new album ‘Empyrean’, which was released in July 2016. LORD OF THE LOST is known to be one of the most hardworking metal groups from Germany since they were on an “endless tour” with the first album ‘Fears’ back in 2010. At the moment, their fans are waiting for them in many countries around the world, including Russia. We met frontman Chris Harms before the concert in Saint-Petersburg to ask him about the band's tour life, their new video, and other interesting things such as “TV of the Lost”, tattoos, and Chris' greatest achievement in life.

Interview withDave Malemort (guitar, drum machine) and Torve (vocals) from WOEST
‘La fin de l'ère sauvage’, that's the title of the a demo by WOEST, a new interesting and inspiring Industrial/ Doom/ Black Metal band from Marseille, France. They quote the American author Robert Ervin Howard, who is well known for his character Conan the Barbarian: “La barbarie est l'état naturel de l'humanité. La civilisation n'est pas naturelle. Elle résulte simplement d'un concours de circonstances. Et la barbarie finira toujours par triompher.” - or in English: “Barbarism is the natural state of mankind. Civilization is unnatural. It is the whim of circumstance. And barbarianism must ultimately triumph.” Guitarist and master of the drum machine, Dave Malemort, and vocalist Torve kindly took the time to give us an insight into their debut work, which has been out since January 21, 2017. Read their answers to our questions on music, literature, mankind, and their future plans.

Video Interview with Asim Searah (vocals, guitar), Slava Zalmanov (guitar) and Tõnis Noevere (drums) of Cantilena at Lauluväljak (Tallinn, Estonia) 2016
One band has made an impact at the Hard Rock Laager Festival last summer and left so many people astounded with their live performance. Their concert on the main stage with the fire show was as equal to the performances of well-known bands and no one had expected that, so I became curious to know who they are. CANTILENA is a Thrash Metal band from Estonia and their sound has changed with their new line-up, starting from 2015 when Asim Searah joined the band. A month after the festival we met again and had a fun chat with Asim, Slava and Tõnis, with an idea of introducing them and their singles ‘Sentiments’ and ‘No.1’. It is just the beginning, so it will be interesting to follow the career of CANTILENA now with Asim Searah on guitar and vocals.

Interview withMarie Davidson: “Goodbye to the Dancefloor”?
We have been following the career of Marie Davidson and Pierre Guerineau with great interest. With one foot in Montreal and the other in Berlin, they produce a particularly innovative electronic music, as part of two projects: Marie Davidson's solo project and their duo ESSAIE PAS. Their musical world evolves between introspective “ambient” music and “minimal synth”, while displaying “clubbing” nu-disco / techno overtones. The whole is sublimated by “spoken word / voice-over”, declaimed or sung. The dreamlike character, almost cinematic, is omnipresent, as if you were listening to the soundtrack of an imaginary film.
